This beautiful property nestled at the gateway to Simlipal National Park, offers luxurious yet homely accommodations for travelers. The air-conditioned stone cottages provide a cozy retreat, each with attached Western-style bathrooms for comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy dining at the garden restaurant, which serves a delightful selection of Indian, Chinese, and local tribal dishes, adding to the authentic experience.
They provide Morning Tea with biscuits in between 6am to 7am which is complimentary. Management provide Breakfast in between 8am to 9am. They serve lunch between 2pm to 2:30pm. Evening starter will be provided in between 6pm to 7pm. Dinner will be provided between 9pm to 10pm. They do not accept outside ration/vegetables/rae materilas for cooking. Their caterer prepare Baby Food, Hot Water, Food For Pets etc With Extra Cost. Their caterer prepare most of the foods using primitive firewood chulla. They also prepare local tribal foods like Sal Leave Grill, Sal Bark Grill and Meat Cake with very less amount of oil, fat & hot spices.
The Room Types: Stone Hut & Tribal Huts
There are certain wildlife/forest acts which guests need to follow. Loud voice, loud speakers and bright light are prohibited which cause irritation to wild animals and penalty may be charged if not followed. The main gate of the resort is closed after 9:30pm. No entry allowed after 10. The order of meal and food should be given one day before (12hr prior) of taking meal. As the materials are purchased from the nearby market which is 17km from the resort. Taking of dinner after 9:30pm is self service & self serving method. Fire wood or campfire would be provided with extra cost. Tribal Dance may be arranged with extra cost.
1) Simlipal Tiger Reserve: Is a part of the Simlipal National Park. Start the expeditions in foggy mornings & witness the beauty of this reserve that is home to more than thousands of species of flora & fauna, a dozen rivers, some beautiful waterfalls. The most popular species of this area are Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Elephant, Gaur, Hill Mynah & Chausinhga.
2) Devkund Waterfall: Embark on a captivating journey to the stunning Devkund Waterfall. Nestled in the heart of Mayurbhanj, this is a mesmerizing natural beauty. This place holds the significance of being the sacred bathing spot for Gods & Goddesses. Atop the hills lies the "Satipith", offering an elevated vantage point from where the cascading waterfall can be viewed.
3) Chahala: Chahala is famous for wildlife sighting spot in Simlipal National Park. If tourists are lucky, they may find a Bengal Tiger lurking in the area. This place is also famous for Elephants, Deers & Peacocks along with other animals.
4) Barehipani Waterfall: Cascading from a height of approximately 500 meters, this is the second highest waterfall in India. Originating from Budhabalang River, this waterfall splits into an awesome spectacle to witness & is also a famous picnic spot.
