1. TEA GARDENS
Kurseong has gained its popularity due to the many tea estates that houses some of the high-end teas in India. Take a trip to Castleton Tea Estate, Ambootia Tea Estate, or even Makaibari Tea Estate where you will do a walkabout tour, observe the procedure of making the tea and even have a taste of some diverse types of tea.
2. EAGLE’S CRAG
To get the beautiful view of the entire town of Kurseong and the frozen peaks of the Himalayas, Eagle’s Crag is one place that should be visited. This place is also a perfect place for morning or evening walks when the sun’s rising or setting is at its best.
3. DOWHILL AND FOREST MUSEUM
Dowhill has that beautiful thick forest which is ideal for walking. Here, the Forest Museum also helps visitors understand the kinds of plants and animals found in this area. The peaceful nature of Dow Hill is further enhanced by the adding of visits to Dow Hill Park and Dow Hill Deer Park.
4. NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE MUSEUM
This museum located at Netaji’s childhood home helps the visitors understand more about the revolutionary leader’s life and his hardships. The house which is in the eastern side of the village is beautifully embraced with a scenic view and is famous in Kurseong.
5. GIDDAPAHAR DURGA MATA MANDIR
This temple is constructed on a mountain and is often visited by several religious devotees. It is not only a religious temple but also provides spectacular views of the valleys around.
6. ST. PAUL’S CHURCH
