3. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute - Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, who first reached on the highest peak of Mt. Khanchendzonga along with Sir Edmund Hillary on 29th May, 1953. The HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute) was found by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India on 4th November, 1954. Now HMI is one of the leading mountaineering institute in india.
4. Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery - Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop and Ghum Monastery are the three points of Darjeeling which are generally visited in the early  morning session. Tiger Hill is famous for the view of Mt. Khanchendzonga at the time of Sunrise. Batasia Loop is about 5 kilometers from Darjeeling town. This Batasia Loop is a spiral railway which was created to lower the gradient of the ascent of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway  in Darjeeling district of West Bengal.
