Kaluk, the ultimate destination of Peaceful natural beauty, located at the lap of the great Himalaya in West Sikkim. Though this tiny village has been added recently in the tourist map. But has been very popular for its stunning natural beauty along with spectacular view of mighty Kanchenjunga. The place has been enriched with the availability of the large number of flora and fauna. Though the tourism industry is improving recently, still the main livelihood of this place is agriculture and horticulture. The main view points of this place is Durga Mandir, Rinchenpong Monastery and Megi Dara.
Rinchenpong: Located just a few kilometers from Kaluk, Rinchenpong is famous for its historical and religious sites. The Rinchenpong Monastery, also known as the Ati Buddha Monastery, offers stunning views of the Himalayas and houses a rare Ati Buddha statue.
Biksthang: A serene and lesser-known spot, Biksthang is ideal for nature lovers. It’s known for its panoramic views of Mount Kanchenjunga and its beautiful landscape. The area is perfect for peaceful walks and bird watching.
Hee-Bermiok: Similar to Chayatal, Hee-Bermiok is close to Kaluk and offers an authentic Sikkimese village experience. You can explore traditional Sikkimese homes, enjoy organic farming, and get a glimpse of local culture and traditions.
Buddha Park in Ravangla: A short drive from Kaluk, the Buddha Park in Ravangla is home to a massive Buddha statue and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It’s a peaceful place for meditation and relaxation.
Geyzing: The nearby town of Geyzing, the district headquarters of West Sikkim, is a hub of local culture and commerce. You can explore local markets, visit monasteries like Pemayangtse, and enjoy the town’s vibrant atmosphere.
Kanchenjunga Falls: Located near Pelling, a short drive from Kaluk, this waterfall is one of the most beautiful and popular in Sikkim. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery, making it a great spot for photography and relaxation.

By Air: The nearest airport to Kaluk is Bagdogra Airport (IXB) in West Bengal, located approximately 125 kilometers away. Frequent flights operate from major cities like Kolkata, Delhi, and Mumbai. Hire a cab to reach Sikkim.
By Train: The closest major railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), located around 115 kilometers from Kaluk. NJP is well-connected to major cities in India. Hire a cab to reach Sikkim.
By Road: Sikkim is well-connected by road to nearby states. If you are traveling from West Bengal, Sikkim is accessible by the National Highway 10 (NH10), which connects Siliguri to Gangtok.
