Auli Artificial Lake: The exquisite Auli Artificial Lake is situated at a spectacular altitude. It is among the tallest artificial lakes in the world. This lake was developed by the government to manufacture artificial snow on the ski slopes during periods of insufficient rainfall. It is among the highest artificial lakes in the world, and that is what makes Auli beautiful, as well as retaining snow on slopes.

Gurso Bugyal: It lies 3 km from Auli and is a beautiful meadow with fine views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Dron Parvat. It is a vast area of lush grasslands surrounded by oak and coniferous forests. Another option is to hike to Chattarkund, which is only a kilometre from Gurso Bugyal. Situated in the middle of a lush forest, Chattarkund is well-known for its sweet water.
