Jayanti River : Jayanti is a river is a small river for which you have to come here again and again with the reminiscence of the magical beuty of the place. The river makes a natural border in between India and Bhutan.
Buxa Tiger Reserve : Buxa tiger reserve, covering an area of 760 square kilometers, is situated in Buxa National Park of Northern West Bengal.
Buxa Fort : Buxa Fort is an interesting historical place located at an altitude of 867 meters in the Buxa National Park. Previously it was a bamboo structured fort built by the Bhutanese to protect one part of the silk route which connected India with Tibet through Bhutan. Later the British reconstructed the fort from bamboo wooden structure to stone structure to make a prison and detention camp for Indin freedom fighters.
Pokhari Lake : Pokhari lake is a small sightseeing place, just 6 kilomters from Jayanti. The pokhari is nothing but a pond filled with a large number of cat fishes and turtles. The pond is so sacred to the local people that they do not enter their feet into the pond water.
Mahakal Cave : Mahakal cave is an interesting path way to the small trekking lovers. It also has an unknown historical background. In the middle of the cave, a small temple is present there, from where you can experience a pictoral view of Jayanti hills nd surroundings.
Coochbihar Rajbari : Coochbihar Rajbari is near about 70 kilometers by road from Jayanti. This historical and magnificent palace was constructed by the famous king Maharaja Nripendra Narayan in 1887. Now, some particular rooms are open for common people to visit the palace.
